And we made it to the end of the week of Blue Things. My last category is “Household Items.” We just bought a pedometer last night, and it just so happens to be blue! So this is my post for today. We used it today to walk to the grocery store, our longest walk we take… we walked 10,113 steps! and went 4.77 miles! Crazy. and we carry groceries on the way back, so it makes it even more difficult lol.
And for food I chose the blueberry nutrigrain bar. Talk about nostalgia… I hadn’t had a nutrigrain bar in years, up until recently. The first bite I took instantly brought me back to a time back in HS, when i really didn’t need to be concerned with weight but somehow was… i would bring the nurtigrain bars for lunch and my friend would bring an orange and we’d split it. nice lunch… guess it was better than the fries or tots we’d eat for lunch. How in the world did just fries fill us up all day… I think thats why I love food so much now, I didn’t get enough of it growing up LOL.

It’s Friday, it’s Jeans Day, what could be a better combination? Jeans Day comes once a month. You have to pay, but hey, why not? It’s not often we get to wear jeans and it comes more frequently with our new boss. So Yea For Jeans Day!
However… this weekend I get to play make believe. I’m going to make believe I like hanging out with all my office people outside of work, and show a good face at the office BBQ on Saturday… at least its on the beach! Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t like the people I work with, and I get the whole bonding outside of work thing, but enough is enough I see them more than I see my own husband lol. And a lot of ppl are fake and there is nothing I can’t stand more than fake people! And it’s not even free food or anything, I chipped in 5$ per month (past 3 months) to participate in our monthly jeans day to go towards the office fund. And I sure as hell aint going to eat and drink $15 worth of food on Saturday. Ok I’m getting way off subject here… back on track, back on track… office supplies… as you can see my favorite pen is both blue and says Aerotek on it, by the way it writes in black… whowouldvethunk?… Aerotek is the company I work for. It is actually a really good company, I shouldn’t talk ill about it… Ooo do I get bonus points cuz I have blue stickey notes in the shot too? haha jk!
So I didn’t realize the pic was a little blurry cuz i took it on my phone…. ooops. But my pic for day 3 of the week of blue are Blue Hydrangeas, obviously the category of Nature. I took the pic tonight on our nightly walk. This bush is actually just outside my apt, in the same building. It’s almost like a symbol that we’re meant to be here I think… Blue Hydrangeas were part of my wedding bouquet!!! I was excited the first time I noticed them there haha. I pass by them every day when we walk and it always brings a smile to my face. And I finally have a reason to take a picture lol, but too bad its too blurry! maybe I’ll use my good camera sometime.
And our 2nd photo challenge is going to be….*drumroll please* about Colors and Objects.
