I love when gifts sporadically come and it stretches your birthday out… haha. I got my first gift yesterday. One of my mother-in-laws bought me some perfume we saw at the mall and both loved. It was a total shock that she went back and bought it for me. Then today, the day before my birthday, I get 4 cards each with money inside! Gotta Love the checks… and my sis has realized how much I love scrapbooking, probably ever since I made her a wedding album, and actually now that I think about it she was the one who bought me my first scrapbooking kit years and years ago! She’s the one who got me started on it haha. She sent me a bunch of fun stickers and letters and different embellishments. What a great gift! and tomorrow on my bday I will be getting a gift from the hubby and going out to dinner, my choice He even bought a cake mix to bake me a cake!! Yummm.

So I decided to take a walk at lunch to this smoothie place close by my work. It was the first thing I saw when I started work and I said to my husband as we drove by, “I will probably be going there a lot! That place looks good and it’s close by.” Yeah, 9 months later and I still never walked through those doors! Usually when I want something sweet to drink I head for starbucks, but I decided to be a little healthier and opt for a smoothie. So I actually have a nice picture taken for this photoblog challenge, but when I walk through the doors of the smoothie place I knew that my blog just took a turn in a new direction! There were Monkeys painted on the wall! How crazy is that??

They are actually pretty cute haha. But the dumb people covered most of the mural up trying to sell other health food stuff and vitamins and probably ‘get thin quick’ pills that don’t even work. So I was a little disappointed I couldn’t get a good pic of the whole thing but you get the idea…
