The Votes are in. The top two contestants are the David’s. David Archuleta and David Cook.  I really wanted it to be between Syesha and David Cook!! but I had a feeling David Archuleta would make it with all the teeney boppers voting for him since and screaming and crying over him. but I was really sad for Syesha! I remember when I first noticed Syesha, I mean, really noticed how good she is and wanted her to win. I wish I could remember the name of the song, but she was wearing a sleek red dress and was on top of the piano. It was more like a Broadway performance and I was just like WOW. She really showed personality and that’s when I first “noticed” her standing out from the crowd. I first knew that David would be a star when he sung Michael Jackson’s Billy Jean. He put an awesome twist on the song and really made it his own. I knew he was talented to change it up so much and make it even better than the original. David Archuleta is good, but he’s not great. He’s only 17! And the songs he sings are all old ballads. He’s not that creative in changing up the songs, and many of his performances Simon referred to as “theme park performances.”  I could see him on the Mikey Mouse Club back in the 80’s or something, but not Americas next Idol! Come On! However I do have to give him props for picking the Chris Brown song, but it was just not right for him to be singing “my boo.” Those words did not come out of his mouth naturally. But the younger, hipper version of him I could see liking.   So who will win, David Cook or David Archuleta?? My vote is for COOK!!!

Lysol multi purpose cleaner… it was sitting out because I washed the floors this weekend… and i have trouble putting things away right away after I use them… but I put it away today after I decided to use this as my YELLOW picture of the day. Category Household Item

PPS. American Idol! OMG I really thought Brooke was going home tonight for sure!! But Kristy Lee was just starting to win me over and shes gone… awwell for the better I suppose because she was really annoying. She cared WAY too much what Simon thought, then she sung to him for the beginning of her last song… WEIRD!

Day 4 of Green, Category Nature. As I think I might have mentioned in the earlier post, I love the palm trees here in Florida! I never realized how much I liked palm trees until I moved here. I mean, I always thought they were neat, but I never felt the relaxed happy feeling like I do until I moved here. There is just something about them that seems so tropical that it makes it a happy place when you are around them. I have so many right here in my apartment complex and even some right out my front window.

On another note… anyone watch American Idol?? I can’t believe that Michael Johns went home tonight. Such a shocker!! I like Carly but I hate that pessimistic attitude, she really thought she was leaving. I mean, its good to know when you suck (haha) but don’t go over the top with it, I mean you obviously never know whats going to happen! I liked the Australian dude and I’m sad to see him go.   I really wanted Kristy LEE COOK to go… I can’t stand her, she idolizes Simon of all people and cares so much about what he has to say its annoying, not to mention the use of 3 names… and shes not that good… I can’t believe she wasn’t even in the bottom 3! But her time will come, I dont see her going much further.

And a 3rd topic… THE OFFICE started up again tonight YEAAA!!! Its my favorite show right now and I’m happy its back! It was kind of crazy tonight… but thats what I like about it lol. Very funny, always something to laugh or almost cringe about
